OK.  I was doing some shopping (in boy mode) at Macy’s.  Yes, for unmentionables.  No, I am not going to describe them - you naughty naughty people ;)

So I had my purchases and went to the register.  As the sales associate was folding my camisole, she looks at me and says “Well, I guess these aren’t for you!”  Not in a bad way - clearly a line to put an uncomfortable male customer more at ease.  I smiled and said “guess again!”  She stopped, and her eyes boggled.  We went through the…

(* Yes, I’ll post pics eventually).

It’s time management.  No question.  Good makeup skills don’t come close.  (OK they do, but let me have the dramatic effect.)

Today combined an 8 hour business day, a client development lunch, transit to the apartment, getting en femme and a quick photo session, over to Nowhere for a cocktail, sushi dinner, back to Nowhere for a terrific reading on gender issues (“Genderpanic” - it was great).  Drinks and socializing until 10:15.  Back to the apartment to switch back and clean up.  Out the…

090217 BlTun 03: From last Tuesday in Los Angeles. Took this just after meeting Sara Tuesday evening, which hopefully explains the slightly windblown appearance. (No explanation for the tiny chair in the hotel room, which makes me look even taller!)

So I am trying to decide whether to come out as trans to the new law firm.  At my old place, diversity was a huge thing - we had a director of diversity, and we could self-identify on a confidential basis.  The new firm is ok on diversity, but the person who leads the diversity program is a more general attorney development person.  Also, the firm is a little more conservative generally.  So it’s not quite the same thing.

My current thinking is that, assuming the self-identification…
